Conference Special Issue – Pure and Applied Chemistry

Following the tradition of previous Green Chemistry Conferences, participants of the #GreenIUPAC2026 will have the opportunity to contribute to a dedicated Special Issue in Pure and Applied Chemistry (PAC), the official journal of IUPAC.

Conference participants are invited to submit either an original research article or a review article, which will be published together as a conference collection highlighting the latest advances in Green and Sustainable Chemistry.

When submitting manuscripts, authors should select the “Green IUPAC 2026” option on the "Please select Issue Type" dropdown menu. This will ensure that submissions are linked to the #GreenIUPAC2026 Special Issue.

Submission deadline: January 31, 2027.

Importantly, there are no article processing charges (APCs) for publication in Pure and Applied Chemistry, and there are also no additional charges for colour illustrations.

The Special Issue will be coordinated in collaboration with the conference organisers, who will serve as Guest Editors and oversee the peer-review and editorial process.
